Topic: workers picnic music?

Im going to be DJing in a workers picnic, which has a Mexican theme, I usually play Mexican music at a party with Mexican people.......In this picnic there will be about 200 people and 7 are Mexican.........um I dont know what to put in other words i want to know what the other people expect to be Mexican music........any ADVICE on what I should put........oh and after the Mexican music is done what else should I put for the hard working workers...........?????????

Ask them what they want to hear. Ask them what type of music and if they want certain songs for you to play... Once you have an idea, just add to the list of songs you think they may want to hear aswell. You cant prepare if you dont know what they want.... Always ask the customer...
 
Thanks Lorenzo, in Mexican parties we play all kinds of music even if they don't originate from Mexico........theres Banda, Corridos, Batchata, Reaggeaton, Cumbia, Salsa, Rock pop in spanish, Durangense, and many more which come from many different Latin American counties as well as Mexico. It all depends on what the costumer wants.
 
I think I need a playlist to start from. Can you send me a common playlist. I would also like to know where you get your music from? I typically ask the customer for their preferences. Thanks and Good luck with your gig!
