Good Morning to all

Looking at buying a laptop today

I have read alot of the posts on which laptop is better but there are so many different types,speeds,etc...

What OS would be highly suggested?

I am doing just music right now but i want to get something with the capability to do videos.

I need a laptop thats going to be good enough for at least the next three years.

Also found this looks good for the price but will be good enough for VDJ for the next three years????

Just make sure that it has good video card, and big hard drive, this model you mentioned is ok, but no info on video card and very small hard drive.

IMO, if you plan on doing video mixes of any sort of VDJ get a lappy with a nice video card. I say this because you CAN'T upgrade your card on most laptops. This really sucks for a lot of reasons, in my case certain PC games will not work on my laptop, but it plays VDJ videos fine with it's integrated memory. I'd suggest looking around. For the price's of those you're looking at you can find some really nice laptops that are much better value and performance.

Also would mention a larger HD, but you can easily find a >120+ external pretty cheap nowadays.
