Topic: adding music thru extenal hardrive

i'm using numark tc , have djio, and numark cue le version 4.3.working on a power book g4. every things working fine,but can't figure out why my external hard drive doesn't come up in the cue le. it came up yesterday now it doesn't. any suggestions?

Hi what format are ur HDD? When u said the volume came up yesterday, u mean in cue le or..?

it's all mp3 format. on the pc all you have to do is right click . i hit local database and 5 songs that i added are there and that's it. don't know what to do.


 
Is it a fat32 or ntfs drive?
 
it is a seagate freeagent external hard drive. it's sahowing on my desktop on the mac but not on the cue le desktop. i just plugged it in the first time and it worked fine .i only stopped the scan because i wanted to add more ram. i don't know what fat32 or ntfs drive is.
 
Cmd click on the volume on your desktop, choose the option get info and post what it says here.

it was reading the external hd fine . what could have changed ?
 
the freeagent hard drive came up on the cue le and the next time i hooked
it up it did not.
 
the music plays on itunes and i can analyse it thru itunes ,but how can i get the local database to do this? i had to push my gigs back for two weeks and i'm just trying to get some answers.







 
its because the 4.3 version won't read an ntfs drive on mac, this was corrected in 5.07 if you use a fat32 partition you won't have any problems.
