Hey guys,

What is everyone using for videos? Projector with a screen or a flat screen monitor? Looking for opinions on both.

DLP projectors. projectors are okay, you just have to make sure your ambient light doesnt drown them out. can be a problem with some flatscreens too if you have too much light
 
3000 lumen, dlp projector. No prob with lights.

A Dell MP2400. Right now it is avalible for $899 dlls.
And a short throw lens ($499 dlls). You can notice the difference in the pics without and with the lens.
 
is that short-throw lense snapped onto the original lense or did you have to take it apart, remove the original lense and install the short-throw?
 
You dont need to remove anything, and there is no need for tools to attach it, just twist it and walla!.
 
Im in the market for a projector, but damn that's a lot of $$. I guess Ill keep looking...
 
Depends on the venue. Most clubs I play have their own system, so I either jack in through my s-video port, or I use my DVI -> YPbPr box from Audio Authority. I also have a sick Casio projector that I can use if I have to.

talk boss into springing for that projector and lens. sweet.
