Topic: Different Controller disks???

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have a pair of the Denon DNS 3500 CD players. I read somewhere that you can get different controller disks (time code signal) that improve the control and connection
with the software outside the traditional time coded CD's. Do they make the time signal different for different CD player models for optimal performance, or are all time
coded CD's the same? And if there is a time code signal to burn to a cd for optimal performance for my CD players, where can I find it?

Thanks

Click me to see the two different types. Follow the instructions there to download.

Gotcha, has anyone used the different time coded signals, and is the difference in control that noticeable?

Thanks for the link, I actually found it after the post.. RTFM i guess.. haha

I tried both timecode recordings when I first got my CDXs - one worked, one didn't. I suspect that's what you'll find when you try the timecodes - it either works or it doesn't...
