Topic: Possible Data Base Bug with my 5.1

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've noticed in my testing that sometime VDJ 5.1 freezes on startup (1 out of 6 times) while reading the data base. I've let it sit for over 15 min at a time (its not scanning files just sitting unresponsive). In order to get the program up an running I have to bring up task manager to shut the program down and re launch it.

My data base is around 70 mg (I know its very large)

P.S I love what has been done with auto mix .. I'm planing on upgrading from 4.3 finally.

Your own database is certainly corrupted or your xml file is very defragmented on your HD.
 
I noticed that 5.1 does take a little longer to start up, but it's not significant.
