i tryed to record a mix of mine and the only way to record is in wave...
is there a mp3 plugin?

You can record in mp3,

but you will need to drop a mp3 lame encoder in the Plugin>lame_enc.dll

don't know where you will find it in the Home Edition. (if that's what you are using)?
