Would VDJ work if with my timecoded vinyl if i have one turntable connected into this http://www.dzcdw.com/Article/UploadFiles/200610/20061003210503763.jpg instead of this http://www.audioframe.com/cubecart/images/uploads/giga_main.jpg? I only have one turntable so i would have the rca cable from my turntable into the input of the sound card, and another rca cable from in the output of the sound card, into the input of my mixer, and my mixer is already hooked up with the computer.
Would that work? everyone is telling my that i should get the Maya 44 USB sound card with 4 ins ad 5 outs. But i only have one turntable.
Thanks!

To have VDJ working properly purchase and download the latest version of VDJ.
Then you must buy a soundcard that has in and outs yes. That first card is really really low grade but you may be able to get it to work. Save some pennies and get a real card that will work for a long time to come. For around $500 you can have a kick butt soundcard and the software legally.

Yeah, i know it wont sound as good as it would with a high quality sound card, but that one will work right? Also, im having another problem, it just started today, when i select ASIO4ALL as my sound driver in VDJ, i get no sound when i play a song. When i looked at the control panel for ASIO4ALL, it out of my primary sound driver had the icon with the red line through it.
Heres what im getting

Sell The gig port and just buy numark virtual Vinyl. Numark virtual vinyl comes with its own interface. Buying something with its own hardware is better because its desinged for it. The maya 44 usb is not that great either. It picks up alot of ground noises.

That card is not going to work with a turntable. You need a card with 4 in and 4 out. For example.. Your turtable rca red and white cable goes into 1 & 2 input and other turntable red & white rca jack to 3 & 4 input... Out put 1 red and white rca jack from the audio interface goes into line 1 of your mixer and the other set goes into line 2 of your mixer
Look at this here.... http://www.numark.com/virtualvinyl
click on the sound card to make larger

Thats the thing, i DONT have 2 turntables, only ONE. So thats why i was wondering if that audio interface would work with vdj. But, the rca cable thats going from the audio interface to the mixer, goes in the line input, or the phono input?

you need 4 going in to the sound card and 4 going out of the sound card.... your turntables hook up to the sound card going in. When you play the time coded vinyl, it will send the signal into your soundcard and the sound card will tell your computer to play the mp3 file. Now, out of the sound card comes the audio rca jacks that you hook up to your mixer. You need 4 in and 4 out. Your sound card only has outputs. If you dont have inputs, you cant use the time coded vinyls. You need something else. The link i showed you above is what you need, If you dont want to spend less.... Buy the M Audio connective Interface. that one sellf for 250..

Look at this one,

then look at this one
http://www.dzcdw.com/Article/UploadFiles/200610/20061003210503763.jpg
The second one is like half of the first one. The first one has 4 slots for input, and 4 slots for output. The second one has 2 slots for input and 2 slots for output. But that makes sense for me because, i only have ONE (1) turntable. I can see why i would need the m audio connectiv, or the numark total control sound interface, if i had 2 turntables. But i dont understand why i would need that if i only have one turntable.
Look at this drawing, maybe this will help. Tell me if this would work.
