Ok mate, heres what u need.
Headphones:
In sound setup option, select headphone option, this will send to an output from your 1&2 channels, and headphones to 3&4. Now on the front of the console there is some 1/4" plugs, 2 infact. This is where you plug in your headphones/microphone. One way to do it is buy some 1/4 inch headphones, and plug them into the jack (right side), or you can buy (i believe one is included) a 1/8 (standard headphones, like ipod or w.e) to 1/4 converter, you can pick these up like at radioshack or best buy or w/e. I have some gaming headphones that i use that have a built in microphone, so i have 2 1/8 to 1/4 converters i use for both headphones and microphone. For the knobs, consult your manual (most are self explainitory)
For plugging into an amp:
Ok, on the back of your MK2, youll see both inputs and outputs. What you will want is to find the OUTPUTS labled 1 and 2, (one will be red, other white) and these female RCA ports are your outputs, being stereo, or left and right (RCA is just the name, RCA is essentially what u use to hook like ur xbox or w/e to ur TV). Then what you need is a cable that will plug from RCA (from ur MK2) to ur amp, whether it be 1/4, XLR, Banana, RCA, or maybe, rarely, 1/8, all depends on amp. I use RCA to 1/4, but just as long as u send them both its fine.
Fire it all up, should be fine
