This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have two Numark TTx TT's and I have a SPDIF connection on both. I am not using these connections. What are the advantages/disadvantages of using them or not using them. And how do do you hook up with MK2 and external mixer?

I am not sure the MK2 would not be able to cope with digital inputs

You are the MK2, lol

What the heck are u smoking Simon?? LOL

Just some more information , Phono is actually an pure analog input regardless of what the signal is, S/PDIF is a digital comunication method ,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S/PDIF

It requires a fiber or a coaxial cable , thus is not compatible with the mk2.
