Just had to share with you all.
That after pounding the streets of Ayia Napa trying to get work for the season and getting nowhere. Have managed to land a 7 night a week DJ'ing job at the Stonehenge dance bar in Protaras here in cyprus for the rest of the season.
Yes its five and half months without a day off but hell I get to go boom-tish with vdj every night and that just makes me smile.
So if anyone comes over to the island of Aphrodite for a holiday, forget Napa and come see me in protaras.

How you go by getting gigs.. Just travel down there and ask, or DJ booking agency or what ?

I just went round the bars with my cd's and talked to the owners. Most were saying they wanted RnB DJ's and while I can play a bit its definatly not my speciality.
As for the clubs they tend to be a harder nut to crack and I think being an unknown the only way to get in is to keep showing your face and get to know the managers and owners. so its gonna be the hard life of going out clubbing all the time....ahhh shame. LOL
I think some do get DJ's from agencies but mainly from other countries, UK, Scandanavia and Greece mainly. I think most clubs have their schedule sorted for this season now but I do know that Play nightclub still has friday night free. I have the owners email somewhere if you want it?
