Topic: tccd issue on mac os x

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hi,

I had been working on some issues on tccd setup with spinnaJ on the harware forums, but i guess it has gotten to the point that i should ask the Mac Community for some help.

I have two laptops, a macbook and a dell. I have the MK2 console for pc
i just bought two cdj 100s, and the new behringer ddm 4000 mixer.

I was finally able to get the tccd burned correctly so that the audio signal was not that strong.
On the dell laptop, i am able to get 100% signal strength continously on both cdj decks.

The issue is on the macbook. For some reason, i get continous 100% signal strength on the left cdj, but on the right my signal strength is all over the place.

i checked my cables, they are all new, and as i stated before, on the dell laptop, everything seems to be running fine.

I do have the latest drivers for the pc and mac. and i am running vdj 5.0.7 on both platforms.

i am not running vdj on the mac on bootcamp, it is running natively on os x leopard with all the the updates for the os.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

On a side note. the behringer has midi capability, so i bouught the edirol m-1x interface, i was also wondering how do i send midi commands to vdj through the mixer?

thank you for all of your help.

Could someone with the working CDJ using as timecode here help Mindtwister3d.

This thread is the references to the problem stated. Thanks.

Regards.

Just as a side not, i will be testing the ddm 4000 mixer on my dell with a more seasoned dj friend, i will be recording it on my camcorder, so i will post videos, as well as pics.

thanks for all the help.

Can u try with other CD players (rackmount or tabletop) n see if it the same?

Howdy are you using the pro or consumer files for timecode cd?

How does the signal look small or large?

Skyfxl:

I have been using the tccd pro, i wll try with the tccd consumer type.

Will let you know as soon as i test it tonight when i get back from work.

Thanks,
