is the trial version pro version ?
it doesnt say pro , also when running in option about it doesnt say pro , does the pro version say pro in the info tab ?
also is there an option to buy non pro version ?
if so what is different from pro and non pro ,
i read alot about home user and pro user , yet never can i find a location to purchas home version , only pro is listed on the site here to purchas ,,,
please fill me in with a bit of info tx.,.

Yes it is..a limited edition of the full version....Some things, like the Time Code is limited to 5 minutes...that sort of thing..

in config > info it says virtual dj 5.0.7
but not 'pro' or 'home' or otherwise.
The home version is more suited to just using the on-screen mixer. (or maybe some controllers)
If you have a 5.1 soundcard, the front audio will be your main sound output, and the rear audio is where you would connect your headphones.
im not aware of any other limitations as ive not seen the newer 'home' editions. although in the past, the home version was a bit cheeper than the 'pro' version.
you should ask youself where you want to use VirtualDJ. will you be playing music in a club / bar / pub ...
or just to practice mixing beats at home, or maybe for shoutcast internet radio??
As a 'pro' user, i have a 5.1 soundcard with front and rear aduios going to a mixer, then i can control my mixing better than clicking around the internal mixer.
Im sure there was a topic in the past on the differences of 'Pro' and 'home'... forum search???

thank you for your in depth reply , exsplained aloot to me , as i dont see a home version available for purchas on the site anylonger so i was a bit confused , your post has cleared it all up ,.
