I have a reoccuring problem with scanning large volumes of Mpeg 3s 50 to 1,500 songs or more. The problem is the scaned information is lost after you close VDJ and reboot back up. It's like you did not do anything. Any ieas on how to fix this. I am a XP Pro user.

Thank you!

Had the same issue. You have to wait a long time for the info to save. I waited probably twenty minutes for 20,000 songs and they saved (may have worked for only a few minutes but I wanted to be safe, after all it took days to do this). I kept loosing my info too. Start with a folder and wait before you reopen. See if they saved and then get bigger from there. It will work.

the Virtual DJ database is build/rebuilt when closing the program.

After scanning such large number of files, you could always go to the Virtual dj folder, sort files by date. And then refresh the folder until you see that the database is not building in size anymore (=finished writing database)

This might help...
