You mean new Solid State Disks? It is the technology that will replace old Hard Disks as we know today. I just saw that 4Gb model that is in the small Asus eee notebook and it's performance is ok but it is not faster then let's say 500Gb sata model with 16Mb cache. Might be that Asus has only 600Mhz Cpu, not sure. But that SSD disks should be a lot faster (64Gb model).

yeah, right
the prices are continuously dropping
i don't have any problems with VDJ, it runs pretty smooth
but if the SSDs can make VDJ's performance & stability even better
i wouldn't bother buying one in the near future, just for my gigs
the partition for my gigs is only 2.5GB
so, just get a 16GB or so ...
