This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have 7000 karaoke tracks in my karaoke folder in my music however if i select the karaoke folder iin VDJ there are only 9 files in there, I cant remember what the recurse feature does however i did it anyway and it didn't fix it anyway! any ideas? this must be an easy one.

Have you tried clicking on the folder, then right clicking, and add to search DB, or something like that.

I made a similar mistake and solved it by selecting show by filename in the main window instead of MP3 tags. I couldn't figure out where all the files went to. They showed back up just fine after that.

Dam, it was the show karaoke that wasn't selected with the three option you now get next to the search box.
