Topic: Crashing in Vista...Please Make It Stop

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I'm using a internal mixer skin, timecoded CD, Vista Ultimate Premium, 1.6GHz, 2GB of RAM and an external hard drive. Knowing the errors of the most recent ones below is my priority but I included them all because I'm wondering if there's a common thread with all of them.

I don't Know anything really on these crashes, but you have alot of very similar Crashes, with similar codes. May be the same sort of crash?

When DJ cel turns up he will sort this out for you. For sure.

These are all crashes related to prior versions -- is there a reason you have not upgraded to the latest version - v5.0.7 ?

Also, once you upgrade, please delete the crashguard.txt file so you only capture NEW crash entries.

Will do, thank you. I upgraded to v5.0.7 but got a poor performance from it. Sound pops, didn't sound good at all. I may try again however depending on what I find out here.

make sure you upgrade the new MK2 drivers then tweak the performance settings.

Yes do, they are much better than the old ones, I can get my setup to run with rev7, it was a nightmare before.

It's an external crash (Windows dll or mapper or plugin, ...)

It was fixed in 5.0.7
the crash happened when the timecode was so distorded that the autoconfig was returning out-of-range values. So there definitely is a problem with the signal you're sending.

It's the problem of the "Invalid Folder". Please read the following topic:
