Topic: new external hd / database question

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

i bought a new ext hd , a real inexpensive seagate as a little drive to have at home and as a backup , such that when i brought the laptop home from clubs (and left the soundcard and other ext hd at the club) i could setup at home with all my normal music and just use the windows default crappo soundcard while i was away from the club .........

anywhoo the drive works fine but i'm doing something wrong cuz , my virtual folders don't work , and go to folder doesn't work , so i know i need to do something ?? with the database to fix that ??

so what is it i need to do ??

Thanx , you wimps

Hey Chuck, just another wimp here....did you copy/paste the .xml data base onto the new drive? Take a look at the manual...Chris has something in there about this type of situation. Let us know if that works...please don't round house kick me anymore T

uuuhhhh i did copy the .xml database onto the new drive .........maybe i should just kick the drive ......

this drive has a front end if you know what i mean ......
