Topic: anyway to make the bass harder?

hi all,
wen im mixin songs to me it doesnt seem like theres not that bass that is kicking
anyway i can fix this? such as a setting i need to change or somthin i gotta do?
theres bass, but im lookin for the bass to shake the room ya no wat i mean?

have you used the eq?
 

You need a subwoofer, or bigger bass elements in your speakers.

yea i turn the bass up on the eq, not all the way up or else it sounds bad but i turn it mayb a lil over to the right
 
I find the sound distorts if I have too much gain. I always turn the gain down -8 then use other volume controls, speakers, amp, MK2 control panel. I find you get a much cleaner sound this way
 
If you have the keylock on, try turning it off to see if it makes a difference.
