Topic: Virtual DJ probs: quality and scratching

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I like using vdj in collab with my hercules DJ console. But when I'm touching some of the buttons (bass, treble, the jogwheels..) i hear a kind of scratching in the background. I really don't know what it is. Some help?

Second problems is that sometimes, in the middle of a mix, one of the records is fwding, of going backwards, with me even touching anything.

Does somebody have an idea what this could be?

thnx

Me and my friend also have the first problem you got, I'dd like to know how to fix this :D

What version u guys using?

I'm using V5 Rev 7, and my friend uses V5 Rev 6

Hi Link2088, Try the latest demo. Remember to uninstalled ur version first then installed this.

Then set the performances slider to fastest n latency auto. Untick both overclock n safemode.

Also what is ur system specs n r u using herc mk2 as soundcard? Updates the drivers.

If u have the pro version, do kindly register it at ur modify ur profile and grab the goodies available for u;)

Thanks spinnaJ, the sounds are gone ;)
I've got 1,83 GhZ Duo Core (so 2 x 1,83Ghz) and 2Gb RAM. I use the ASIO driver.
But I guess this doens't matter anymore since the problem is gone now :P

Good!

Hope to see u as a pro user soon;)
