How much ram ideally for audio only you would want at a bare minimum 1gb.

I use less than that (1.6GHz). No reason why it shouldn't work as long as you have enough ram (ex. >1GB). Mine handles audio well, but I am unable to use advanced master tempo algorithm with 1.5GB of ram. I hope this helps ;)

I have 1.4 Ghz and 480 Mb RAM .. .. works fine with TCV's .. .. (some slips, after about 2 hours) I will upgrade soon, but no crashes so far..

i've been running virtual dj with 65 Mb Ram ( do you know how bad it has been effecting my skills! but i still pulled 7 shows of with that)
