There are programs that will remove the frequency range where vocals live but you also lose the bits of the music within that frequency range. Another method is to set it up for 5.1 surround and just record the left and right as most of the vocals are usually on the centre track. Again not really very nice. As 101 said, getting the instrumental version if there is one available, is really the only way at the moment.

It is impossible to remove just vocals and not damaging the sound of the track. Use instrumentals or Dub versions as suggested.

Or if the track has some instromental parts you can always loop that section. Not as good as having the full instromental but if comes down to it it's better than losing bits of the orginal mix;^]
