It's regarding the auto-mix mode for VirtualDJ.
Auto-bpm has 3 options : "disabled", "enabled" & "smart" that changes the way the automix works.
I don't use automix, as I always play myself... but try it out, and test the difference.. :)

I understand that. I tried it out and can not discern much of a difference, hence my question. Thanks for the heads up though!

I believe it's a controller function of the bpm. Enabled will set your next song to the bpm of the song it is playing currently. Great if you are continuously mixing house music. I'm not sure on smart but think it judges whether or not to change the bpm based on the music that is currently playing. At lease that's how I saw it... You are playing a song at 145 BPM and load a song at 75 it won't change it...
