Topic: REcORdER ERROR

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

When i try to use the recorder on VDj it shows ***Record Error***... Can't Open Mp3 Encoder...any suggestions???

Is everything configured correctly ? To include the reference to the LAME MP3 encoder DLL ?
 
I believe the configuration is correct

I am using Stanton Final Scratch Interface through a firewire and using the ASIO. i have tried this from two different notebooks and neither one works. Even before using Final Scratch when I tried to recrod directly from my computer it gave me an error.

CONFIG:

Record from:
master - in

I have a specific file destination

FORMAT:
ENCODER: C:Users...DocumentsVirtualDJPluginslame_enc.dll

Is there anything else I may need???
 
Well if you are recording from MASTER IN -- then is there something hooked to the computers soundcard LINE IN ?
