Any idea why my video have a multi-colored bar when I have hardware accelerator on. I have no problem with video when hardware accelerator is off.

Here is my computer Spec. Sorry I should of post this also. I was just hoping that someone would have already seen this.
Dell XPS 210,Intel Core 2 Duo Processor,E6600 (2.4GHz,1066FSB) with 4MB Cache
2GB DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz
256MB ATI RADEON HD 2400 Pro
500GB Serial ATA II Hard Drive(7200RPM)
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition,Service Pack 2
Any other ideas? I would think my video card can handle this. I tried adjusting the Performance preset to Fastest this had no effect. Only in the Video >> use hardware acceleration made a changed it. I've updated my DirectX and loaded the latest driver for my video card. Could it be that I need to run Vista? I was reading up on this video card and it seem to be optimize for Direct X 10 which only run on Visa? I would really hate to get another OS.
