I can remember the post Paul. It would be a cool idea to have something to represent each user, a national flag, Country which the user lives, a picture or just a phase.
It would make the forum and posts more personal.

as long as it did'nt get cluttered jimmy, i would even prefer something as simple as this instead of the globe, as i've said before it would give you instant recognition of where the person your talking to resides, plus a better idea when you could expect a reply to a post because of the different time zones
Los Angeles
United States
or to run in tandem with the globe would save doing the search and the time it takes to load, using flags would cause some people to go dig out the atlas if they are not to clued up on countrys emblems, so that would defeat the purpose of those
little postal address like above would be great

Dont Forget you can find any ones location who is ok with you knowing by clicking the user map button.

I think location is more important than our "toy" icons, maybe a good swap, and room for a very small photo, make it more personal and practical without cluttering the forum.

hi sky
thats exactly the function we want to bypass, simple postal address of county/state and country below that line would eliminate the need to go searching for someones location in the world, its not as though we want a full postal address just a quick reference to their location in the world, just those two lines would be ideal and of course as is now it would be optional for the user to apply those settings

You all need to stop all that F&%# complaining about having flag... Hell, I've been with you guys for over a year and I still don't have a home on the map yet. Just being a gypsy I suppose. I just travel around with my Cue and a controller and a external in my bag. I carry a large patato sack with a pair of undies and a extra t-shirt. I carry a sign saying " If you have an outlet, I will play for food".
I'm a man without a country.

loooool ;)
Numark users will not unfortunately not show up on the map automatically, since they havent bought the program online here at the website, hence we have no user information about the exact location of the user (follows credit card billing adress for VDJ users)
But we could make a user input system, where the user entered his adress ...

As much as I would like to make jokes and kid around with this... I just can't because I respect everything the VDJ family has done and given my 2nd party software. Even though I'm a step child, I couldn't tell.
Big hugs to all VDJ team and members...
Sorry for the breakdown but I love you guys ( sniffle )

I was informed before I got my VDJ license that the map feature was limited to VDJ users only. Consider it a perk for buying VDJ instead of CUE. And we are not F&%#ing complaining .....We just like to see how many different ways people can come up with spelling the word F&%#.......

I know you're busy Rune, ( with all the testing of a certain software, just guessing..hehe ) but can't you come up with something, as this not so new website now, is your little baby.
Like a little Tick box or something asking the user if they want their national flag to seen under or at the side of there name. It would be cool.

yes, we'll fix something...
There is already a flag system by IP, so maybe we can do that first.... :)

Suddenly i have this idea as well.. to add something like a time stamp of ur post. Example when u post in the thread, below left of the ur post window will show ur OWN local time n date on when u post. This be visible to others too. A person in US post will show his local time/date while somebody in Asia will show its local time/date too. It might be useful too;) hmm.. just a thought.
