Does VDJ have a 25 frame per second cap on video... Its just whilst playing around with fraps it will only allow upto 25 fps ... its defo not a system duo 2.8, 4gig ram and 7900 nvidia.

Fraps has a frame rate limiter on it, so it's more likely that causing the problem than VDJ,
On the Movies tab in Fraps, on the right hand side there should be a list of FPS values. Simply select the one you wish to use.
That all being said, if your intentions are to play it back on a PAL TV, then 25 frames per second should be correct.
