Topic: Problems with sound

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I'm having a problem with the sound output. When I'm mixing from track to track on some songs I hear the sound snaps like an electric static pop. It's not loud but it pops now and then. I also use Atomix and it doesn't have this problem.

I'm using windows XP 1800, 1 gig of ram, 2 audio cound cards (Sound Blaster live) and my setting are at default.

I've updated drivers and still the same proble. Help?

You could try to take one of the SBLives out from your computer physically just temporarily and see is there any effect..
 
Did that, still the same.
 
program locking up when i change the song to another song. Looking at 2 External hard drives. just purchased this yesterday. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
What is your specification , how large are these files , what os do you use?
