Topic: Sound Effect & Video Effect Plugins

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I recently just copied all my plugins from my pc to my mac. Are the plugin files from my pc compatible to my mac?? Reason I ask is that when I went to check on my plugins for my mac, they weren't showing up. I know I copied them correctly in the same root folder. I'm just worried that the .dll files aren't compatible?? Am I right? Please help me....Thanks

yes they are not compatible.. Atm u can only use those that preinstalled with ur mac version.

More plugin made for mac is on the way. stay tuned;)
 
Hi Cnd782, currently for soundeffect, it is the only ones that in ur mac vdj (more coming soon)
For videoeffect, u can dl from here. Look at the first one;)

For skins, currently i only use the default one on mac as i prefer that on my mac.. n yes i do use mix lab too on my HP lappy. I will try to remind skyfxl. He been bz n that y he hasn't responded.. no worry mates. I sure he be able to help ya;)

I am new to this forum.. I read a lot of requests from Mac users and it looks like the Mac version is almost done(i am using the beta 5). In my opinion part of the success and attractiveness of VDJ is the flexibility of changing skins, effects and so on... and in this point the MAC version is far behind the PC Version...
I own an M-Audio Xponent that came with TORQ but I bought VDJ to have access to such extra features... Now I have to confess to be disappointed...

I suggest an extra effort from the dev team or webmaster to indicate better wich download is for wich platform(PC or MAC).
Another very simple point is to convert the skins to ZIP files instead of .exe files.. and publish it in the website.
I have used PCs since 1986 and after switching to MACs i prefer never to touch a pc again... and being a customer I would prefer to have access to tools ready for my platform rather than having to make turnarounds to achieve such simple things...

Sorry for disturbing but that is my point of view...

Once the mac version is released , the website will be updated yes.
 
doesn't making any sense,
"MAC Sound effect & Video effect plugginz' coming soon".... You guys keep posting this non-sense, since I had CUE ver. 4.0. Now I have 5.07 (lol)

You already have transition plugins.

Where can i find these mac downloads?? Sorry about the beginner question but I can only find .exe plug in downloads!

You need to do the following :

1. Purchase pro VDJ (discount for owning mk2) or Numark Cue (boxed copy)

2. Add your pro serial to your profile.

3. Download the latest PRO VDJ or CUE from the site for mac.

4. Go to the downloads section > Sound FX or VIDEO FX where you can now download mac adons as a pro user

Hope to see you as a pro user soon :)

I looked for the video effects for mac. Downloaded the files and loaded them in virtual and it says error. Is it because the files are in a .svp format?
I'm looking for video effects for mac but having a hard time searching the site and forums.

Video fx are on the way , transitions are out now.
 
Hi, I am running on mac os x and sometimes when i download soundeffects only a few of them work and the ones that dont work are called .bundle, so im not sure if i am suposed to do something with the .bundles to make them work or if i am doing something wrong. Please let me know, thank you.
