when using automix during the transition i hear a skip or jolt its not smooth i have a djio sound card

Could you please give us a few details about your computers specification?
 
hp 6565 2gb ram 200 hd
 
Try this , go to options > performances and set auto-latency , untick safe and over-clock and try moving the performance slider towards fastest in small steps until the stutters stop.
