Bugs ?
1 - I create a folder for example December 2007. I put some files in it. I start vdj. In the browser i search this folder, and click right-mouse button and select "add folder to search db". Then another day i put some new files in this folder. I start vdj, and the new files are not in the db. I have to make another "add folder to search db". Is this correct ? I suppose that once you have added one folder to the db, when you check, fix and clean this db it should update the db removing not existing files, and adding new ones .... Perhaps a bug ?
2 - In rev6 it only recognizes audio files. vdj cant find any video file ( mpg, mpeg, vob ...). Seems like only can find audio files ( mp3, wma ...). Cant find option to search video files and karaoke files. Perhaps a bug ? Something missing in rev6 ?

have you tryed the recurse option before you add to searchDB ??

I only have the Show covers options right the search field. It disappeared show video, show karaoke and show music options that were in rev2.
Some tweak in the registry or in shortcut keyboard maybe the solution ?

Wow, good catch!
However, I use VDJ with a karaoke program at the same time for most nights.
And VDJ needs to be video deactivated for the karaoke program to run properly. Only between singers i may play some videos once in a while.
But I need to set up the videos in the sidelist and the playlist beforehand while the karaoke program is running.
In that case, I will need to sort out videos for my perusal. If they won't show, I can't?
Is there a workaround for me on this one?

I've updated to 5.7 and my mpg files are not showing up. I've created a filter for video and they still don't show up. What's the fix?

You upgraded to 5.0.7.
Try clicking the enable button in video tab of config. Then click show video in browser bullseye.
