Topic: Scanning two drives

I have two 120gb hard drives. 12500 tracks on each one (one is a backup therefore there are two of every song on my PC). When I scan hard drives for songs I don't select the backup (drive e:) but it scans it anyway. My problem is when I search a song I get two results for every track, so when I search for say Michael Jackson I have maybe 40 results x2!!
How can I have the back up songs existing on no.2 hard drive but not have them scanned. Thanks in advance.

Uncheck the harddrive you dont want to be scanned, when right-clicking the database inside VDJ.

Also, delete mp3database.txt to get rid of the double findings on that backup drive.

mp3database.txt (AND NOT THE XML FILE!!!) can be safely deleted, and is rebuild when you scan drive.
Be sure to scan only the drive you want, and the mp3databae.txt is build the way you want

hope that helps :)

Another way is :
right click at the database icon->delete cd
You can delete drives(not only cd's) you dont want to use
in search.
