Topic: Trying to Send The Main Video to the TV

Hi DJs,

I am trying to send the main video screen my TV. I am using a Toshiba laptop with a S-video cord to the TV. The problem is that it shows the entire DJ screen and video. So, how do I send the main video screen to the TV, without letting others see my DJ controls screen?

On my PC in the display properties, I click on the second screen and use the "Extend" option to enable that screen. Then start VDJ, go to Config and then the Video tab, select your graphics card (instead of window) in the "TV Output" dropdown box and click Activate.

Also, this has the added bonus that if I have to exit VDJ, they get my black background screen, or I can throw up some pictures or something whilst I work on the main screen.
 
and dont forget everything must be connected before you boot up your lappy...
