Topic: Effects distort in vdj, help

When using delay plugin from site, it crakles and distorts, any suggestions as how to tweak effects.

Do you mean when you touch the third slider ?
 
yes, yes that's it. I have sliders 2 and 3 mapped to my x-session. When I turn those knobs to get an intense delay effect, you know, for builds, it distorts. Another delay plug in, the one with the horse design also distorts badly. Any help would be appreciated.
