hi, how is this card for cue/vdj? one of the mates is thinkin about gettin cue and gettin the u46se to use for it. he's playing timecode useage.

i have a u46dj but i don't think you can get them anymore.

something important:
the "SE" has vista drivers (u46dj has not)
 
yes, of course, the "SE" has vista drivers, but they don't work!!!
I have just bought a u46SE from thomann.de but vista doesn't find my device :(
I try, and try, and try again, but very very and very unsuccessfully. :D
so, maybe I can try asio4all.
can you help me?

This is sad, did you tried this driver from this site ?

I don't have the card nor use vista !... so i can't help, anyone else can confirm this ?

ok, i'll try to help ...
-Deactivate "User acount control" (UAC) for your account, (control panel ->user acounts->etc) (needs restart)

-If driver has an installation .exe file (setup) try to run it as "addministrator"
(right click on the file "run it as addministrator")


If not a setup file but a folder, try "update driver" from device manager and locate the folder...

Let us know if this helps...
 
hello

i also have the u46se....when you want to work with card on vista you will have many problems, because you have to wait until the 2 service of vista comes...However, with Asio4all the u46se plays constant ánd you even can use it.... next problem is that the card only has line inputs and no phono inputs so you only can play timecode cds and no vinlys...so all in all i bought now the m-audio conectiv and this soundcard is perfect(sorry my english is very bad)
 
you can play vinyls in the line input with vdj as the software changes the levels for ya.

I've downloaded vista drivers from download.esi-audio.com and they don't work in vista!
so, I'll try proceedings you have just write for me and then I will post results and let you now if you're right :D

which asio4all driver did you take?

i think that this don`t work with the line inputs, because vdj don`t even see the timecode cds...you only hear the signal of the timecode cds,but you can not use them.
 
I try asio4all 2.7, asio4all 2.8 beta1 and asio4all 2.8beta2. vista take them right, but then it doesn't find my device.
and you? which asio4all do you use?
 
I use the ASIO4ALL_2_8_Beta_2_English
 
so, I have tried to install u46 again but nothing!!

i instal asio4all normal(no special installation)... but i also install u46se and so there were no problems,they worked together in harmony" :-)
i don`t know what proceedings meen....can you please translate me??

my english is also very bad :-) so don`t worry.i install asio4all normal...did you try to switch off your firewall and than install ones more. ...maybe it helps
