" North Pole , this is Christmas One ".....
this is a great flick , it should be rated G if it isn't , it's all good , no bad language , no uncomfortable bits you can't watch with Mom and the kids , AND it's not weak or working the usual lowest common denominators ....
it has a good story , Vince Vaughn and the whole cast are all good multi dimensional characters and well cast , the pace is excellent , it doesn't drift , and it's tight .....
near the end there is a heart stoppingly beautiful rendition of Silent Night by Sinead O'Connor ......
did i remember to say i really liked it ??
the critics don't like this flick ...... to which i say , you need more rum in yer eggnog......

the Silent Night by Sinead i mentioned is very good .... but, my all time favorite versions are by ... coming in at number one... Enya ( sung in Irish) and , at number 2 , The Temptations .....
but , lotsa great versions out there , and ya know what ? it's a challenge for singers ......

i just read another mediocre review ... it deserves better than that
it's PG ?? why i think i might have heard the word hell once ?? no other naughty words , no rude bits .....
it IS NOT aimed strictly at 12 and under and it isn't meant to be a continuous laugh fest either
