I own a DCX-2496 and I love it. here is a picture of my rack.

But i hope you know that the Behringer you posted is an EQ and the dbx is a speaker management system.

Definitly DBX, Behgrrrr!!!!! is a choice ONLY when you are on a tight budget.

The Behringer is a way better unit then the DriverackPA, so that choice would be simple. Comparing it to a Driverack 260 becomes more fair featurewise, but by then the Behringer still comes out on top on price alone.
Another good alternative would IMO be the XILICA 3060 or 4080

My fault. I should have said that I'm interested in RTA function of both devices. Is RTA function really useful? Thanks.

not tru mane.
the dbx is so basic its ridic...don't bother using the compressor on the dbx its useless. just when u balance the price & quality its not worth it.
i used to own the dbx, now i own the behringer.
put the extra money into getting a 2nd hand aphex dominator. trust me u will want my phone # to personally thank me.
If your curious of other units the bbe is one to look @ BBE DS48. 1 more input & 2 more outputs compared to the behringer.....but this unit doesn't have a eq.

yes it is usefull.....but theres other units alone that will do this. When u run white noise through the unit it will shape the eq to the room.
inexpensive eq you can use to rta: http://cgi.ebay.com/BEHRINGER-MODEL-DSP-8024-ULTRA-CURVE-PRO-MAINFRAME_W0QQitemZ140177081671QQihZ004QQcategoryZ23790QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

I have the DEQ 2496. It is really pretty easy to learn to use it. The sound quality it is nice (superior to others behrinhers eqs), The RTA could be usefull BUT DOES NOT DO FLAT PINK NOISE. A friend of I have same unit with same results. We \"analize\" the pink noise from the Behringer with an EDAX RTA and we saw that theres a fall in the high freq (above 4 khz), and thats why the Auto EQ raise a lot the higher freqs.
I also experiment problems with low voltages peaks and/or when theres is no grouded earth at the AC Outlets, the unit freezes and cuts all the sound with a message in the dsiplay: \"FATAL ERROR. PLEASE RESTART THE UNIT\". I resolve the problem using a heavy power regulator (those with big coils), and making sure that has grouded earth.
Two friends of I have the DBX, and they swear that the soudn quality it is great, but they dont like that makes a REALLY BIG POP when turns off (you must turn of your amps first). One of them blow their high drivers with an \"accidental\" turn off of the unit.
If I need sometime to buy a new RTA, I will go with no doubt with the mackie QuadEQ or the DBX DriveRack 260.
