I followed your list of tweaks to get the best performance of VDJ in WIN XP. Now when my laptop starts I get a WARNING message that reads: The ATI control panel failed to initialize because no ATI driver is installed, or ATI driver is nor working properly. The ATI control panel will now exit. What is this? Can you help me? I'm not a tech. geek so I need some handheld guidence. Thanks.

ATI is your graphic card drivers.
Have you done something in tweaking that disabled some features for ATI? In that case, I would turn them back....
Also, if the problem is there each time you start Windows, it seems like the drivers for ATI is messed up, and you need to reinstall the drivers for your graphic card.
