It has been brought to my attention that others have found that VBR tracks cause problems with VDJ.

i did some checking and verified that most of my tacks are indeed VBR.
This is a serious issue if the program can not handle VBR.

Maybe it is the tag information that is mucking it up? All of these have been tagged, bpm counted, and gained with PCDJ.

All of these tracks I have been using for years with BPM studio, PCDJ Red, DJ Power, Mixvibes, winamp, and my iPod with no issue

All my mp3s are VBR encoded.
I used the guide that DJ-In-Norway found, which is on this site: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/mydeneaclame.cfm

I haven't had any problems with them.

It could be the problems you are having with VBR are soundcard related?

I'm using the Echo Indigo DJ

I also use VBR, coded the same way, and no problems

But I have had some problems with mp3's coded in VBR downloaded from the net. Maybe there is some encoder issues here too? Donno... but Dev Team will figure it out ;)
