Topic: ICDX as a soundcard for a laptop?

Hi,
Anybody know if i can use my pair of ICDX's as soundcards for my laptop? I'd of thought you could as they can play straight of a hard drive right?

iCDX has 3 modes.
1 mode is the iCDX as a controller that interfaces with the application.
The other 2 modes use the audio outputs when using an audio/MP3 CD or external hardware with the iCDX directly.
