Topic: DMC-2 mapper v1.2 is now available

I have just released an updated version of the DMC-2 mapper. This fixes a few bugs and adds a few new features:

  • Video effect and transition names are now shown in video mode.

  • Optional frame cueing mode implemented (Enabled via user parameters.)

  • Effect and video effect buttons can be selected and pressed.

  • Effect and video effect sliders can be selected for adustment.

  • AUTOMIX button now works correctly when double-clicked.

  • Random video transitions now work in automix.

  • User parameters can now be filtered by group.

Just installed it and it looks good, except one thing:

When I hit the automix button at my skin on the laptop it mixes great.
But when I hit twice the automix button on the DMC2 it starts with the automix but it stops after the first song.

Any idea?
 
The automix on the DMC2 isn't for using with VDJ automix (technically) If you hit that button twice it will slide over to the other deck mixing whatever you have loaded on that second deck in.

Thought that it would start the automix from the vdj automix.

 
You can toggle automix on/off by holding down WHEELMODE on the appropriate side and pressing AUTOMIX.

How to modify the jogwheel speed to have the same effect like the nudge mode on the default config ?

That's a good one !!!
When I use the wheel for scrolling trough the music, it goes to fast.
 
You can adjust the jogwheel sensitivity via user parameters (See the section at the end of the manual (DMC2Mapper.txt))

E.g: 'Jogwheel Pitch Bend Sensitivity' and 'Jogwheel Browse Speed'.

Is it possible to have a french translation of the .text because I'm not so good in english and I don't understand all.

The mapper seems very nive but with no translation, I can't use it perfectly .

Anyone ?

Sorry, I don't speak French (Or any other languages apart from English.)

NOTE: It's also possible for the DMC-2 displays in the mapper to support other languages too, if someone is able to translate the text definitions.
 
Just tested scrolling trough the songs after changing it.

It's perfect now.
