I have done this on both of our machines....
Load a song and while it is loading double click the search box. This instantly crashes VDJ to the desktop.

Doesn't matter specs...does it on everyones I have told about it. I just thought I would say something about it in case it can be fixed.

could you post some more details on your spec their specs, what happened at the time ?
did crash guard come up if so please could you look in
mydocuments / virtualdj
for crashguard.txt
and C:/programfiles/virtualdj
if you could open it in note pad and post the contained code here
