Topic: need help with my total control

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I just got the numark total control, and I love it so far. My only problem is that I hear crackling sound whenever i use the volume fader and even with the eq knobs. is therre a way i can improve the sound quality? is there a way I can eliminate those crackling sound?

what is your system spec
what version do you use?
which soundcard?
 
system spec:
2 gig ram
160 gig HD
amd anthlon 64x2 processor

I use vdj 5 rev 2
i didnt get my sound card yet but im goin to be using numark dj/io.
right now im just plugging the usb directly to one of the ports in my comp. I just want to play around you know?
 
try on options > performances ,

choose fastest , autolatency untick safe and overclock

built in soundcards can have difficulies on higher settings as they arnt that great quality

the dj/io would be better :)

go to ur modify ur profile n enter at the software registration..after that u go back to the forum, ur logo is there:)
