Topic: song only goes forwards when scratching

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I'm using a tcv (just one) and when I scratch, the song still progresses forward, instead of scratching back and forth. It makes the scratching sound, but the waveform is going forward only... I've tried all kind of settings but can't figure it out, and didn't find a solution in here the last two days...

Anybody out there who can show me what I'm doing wrong?

which soundcard do you use?
 
get to the timecode config in ur vdj and try auto-cfig, whiles ur tcv is running. also make sure to choose "smart" for the mode. if you are using one tcv, then make sure you've also selected one input for your timecode in your sound setup. if the autoconfig doesn't help, then click on advanced view in the timcode config, and play around the invert stereo and invert phase and lets see how it works
