Is there a way to disable the jog dial of the live deck so you won't screw up the track that's playing? Because the dials are too close to the crossfader you can hit them easily and get a pretty nasty result (especially if you are recording).

If you use the mapper (console icon in system tray) - and map the jogs to do nothing ;)

Your "remap sticky play button with sync-button"-solution was a far better idea dj-in-norway ! :)
I'd like the Virtual DJ software to handle this in a next version.
(ability to turn jogs on and off)
Turning them off completely with the mapper is not a solution. (jogs do have a reason to exist, you know) LOL

depends on the software version of VDJ and firmware you are using
in latest versions there's no mapper at all

Yeah I noticed.
I re-installed an older version to get back my mapper :)
Why did they remove this ?
(Because it doesn't work or what ? I tried mapping a keyboard shortcut to a console button but it doesn't change a thing....)
