Topic: Problem with loading an m3u playlist

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I have a m3u playlist that plays fine in media player or itune. But when I open it the VDJ, I see all the songs but none of them can be loaded on any of the decks!

I have version 1.09 for the DJ Console. I also tried with the 2.0 demo version and I have the same problem.

Can someone help because I have over 5000 mp3 and using m3u playlist is the best way for me to access my DJ sets.

For those interested. I actually found out the problem. All m3u files are not created equal. Guess what... The m3u produced by media player or winamp cannot be read but the one produced by Real Player can be read by VDJ.

Lack of good standards I guess. Have you tried yourself with m3u not produced by VDJ?

I use the Sonique 1.96 player to make playlists, it's the easiest one to use that I have found.
Try it, you will like it
