1) I set up a loop during a song.
2) I record a sample of it in loop mode.
3) I stop the song and play back my sample (looped) to make sure it got recorded as I wanted it and that it loops properly.
4) Since it loops properly I save it.
5) Then I load the saved sample.
6) When I play it, it is slightly different... i.e.: this time the loop is not perfect.

This has only been happening since 2.03 with just about every loop I sample and save.

After playing around with it for an hour, I found out that this only happens if the "compress to mp3" plugin is enabled.

If it's not enabled, then the samples get saved properly.

This is due to the mp3 compression... the padding added (this is part of the mp3 standard) creates this very small gap. To save perfect loops, you should disable mp3 recording.

Are you sure this only happens since 2.03 ??

Actually the way I should have said it is:
"I've only noticed it since 2.03"

I've only been using the software since 2.02, so it's possible that I only started loading saved samples with 2.03, and that would explain why I didn't notice the bug before that.

Sorry for the confusion.
