Topic: Left Deck loads only first 16secs ahead

Hi

I am just finishing my gig at Buddha Bar (Bulgaria) and VDJ suddenly started not to load in memory the tracks into my Left Deck. As far as I can see it loads only some 16 secs ahead. There's plenty of memory (1gb ram on my Core Duo Vaio). Same mp3 loads on the right deck fully.

It should be a bug ;)

v4.3 here...
dunno what else to log to check where the problem is :)

heya , try on settings to set max load

aslo as a safety feature some songs are loaded slower to protect machines

you can turn this off aslo

using dj cels registry tool

tick the box for speed load and this should now be gone :)
 
man, this happens for the first time with my installation ;)
max load is not the case.. the tracks are below 8-9mins all, and maxload is 15mins.
tccd... nothing special. i am still mixing now, and still the left deck is not loading the whole track in memory ;) fun!
 
Is it CBR or VBR MP3?
 
any mp3 didnot load on the left deck :) after i finished successfuly my gig (this night without breaking the database) i restarted the vdj and of course, it was ok :) i am sure it is a tiny software bug, and could be fixed. at least this time it didn't stop the interface from working, as it happened last week and i had to load a second copy of vdj while playing and close the first one after the song finished. it was such a mess ;)
 
did you enable speed load?
 
how can u tell if there in cbr or vbr. and can this be changed if need be
 
@skyfxl - i don't remember if i put some extra data into my registry last week. where can i find the vdj registry values and descriptions?

i want to say again: this happened only once this other night. i will be playing tonight, and i doubt it will happen again soon :)
 
I had this once with a VBR mp3. converted to CBR and it worked fine
 
it doesn't happen with a single mp3 file. the whole deck stopped loading the songs into memory. no matter cbr or vbr.
 
It's not a show stopper, however I experienced it too few times,
did you experience it again with 6.0.3?
 
Did you read the dates on this? It is from 2 1/2 years ago! Locked
