It would be interesting to be able to FORCE VDJ to use only RAM memory and not SWAP.
In this way we would be sure that the acces to the song is really quick.
Moreover the memory limitation would be automate according to the ram available for each new song.
Note: this is only an idea. Maybe this will not help the software and it maybe really hard to realize.

Maybe it can be done with a basic "dedicated" memory defragmenter in VDJ code... (i presume....) A defragmenter is a good way for optimizing RAM.
