Hi Everybody;
I just posted a new plugin:

FadeOut v1.0:
-------------
- Reading in decreasing volume; the duration may be defined via a slider (in number of beats);
- Possibility of flanger during execution (possibility of regulation Flanger Delay and Flanger Volume)
- Parameters frozen during execution;

Enjoy, and post all comments
Clax

Many thanks to macourteau who helped me a lot about programming. I never could create anything without his help.

FadeOut has just been released. Try it and post your comments.

I'll try to adapt it to your wishes if it's possible.
(I will already change de the default length; it's not enough at present).

FadeOut will be soon replaced by a new plugin: Fade
This new one will allows to increase or decrease the level and even set it to the max or 0.

But ... I need a little time to create it.
I'll release it as soon as possible.

1. Is it possible to use the same idea to move the crossfader by selecting the time of fade?

2. Is it possible to use the same idea to decrease channel1 's level and in the same time increase channel2's level?

=> ideas for automix...

Yes it's possible; at least I think.
I'll ever try to finish Fade and after I'll check it. No problem.

Thanks a lot clax

For my second idea: Of course, before moving the level of volume, put the crossfader in the middle (It will work whatever the crossfader function in settings), the direction (channel 1 to channel 2 or channel 2 to channel 1) and the speed of changing channels

Hi
I noticed in the "FadeOut" effect that if your volume level is different from the max your plugin reset to the max at first
Is it a way to improve that or not?

djcel: it is not possible as of yet to retrieve the level slider's position, so the plugin will start at the maximum value. The possibility to retrieve level slider's values could eventually be added to the SDK, but as of now it is not possible. This is why FadeOut starts at the maximum, since most people keep the level at it's maximum value most of the time... ;)

I have just noticed when you are in a loop and you start at a precised moment (depend on length)the plugin, FadeOut reset to max as it behaves like the loop

That's because the level evolution during the plugin execution is funtion of the song playing. (sorry for my english).
You'll see that the level will grow up when scratching backwards.

I don't think it's possible to solve it but it allows some good effects when scratching.

clax: use a global variable that counts how many samples elapsed since the plugin started (instead of using the song's position), this way the plugin won't have problems with loops :)
